Leslie E. Pulke

	Leslie E. Pulke, age 51, of Cross Church Road, Pinckneyville, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 4, 2003 at the emergency room of the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Leslie was born July 29, 1952, the son of Eugene and Billie Mae (Hawkins) Pulke.  He was united in marriage to Susan 'Diane' Ledford and she survives.  Leslie was employed by John Fabick Tractor Company in Fenton, Mo., was a member of First Apostolic Church of Pinckneyville, was a member of the local #513 Operating Engineers, the UMWA and worked for 23 years at the Peabody Coal Company, Sparta.
	Leslie is survived by his wife Diane and father, Eugene Pulke, both of Pinckneyville; two daughters, Brandy McWhorter and her husband, Rev. James McWhorter of Petersburg, Ill. and Brooke Pulke of Pinckneyville; one brother, Joel Pulke and wife Tammy of Centralia; two sisters, Cheryl McDonnough of Pinckneyville and Joann Hicks and husband Herschel of Arlington, Tex.; two grandchildren, Logan, age 6, and Ethan, age 4, and numerous other relatives and friends.
	Leslie was preceded in death by his mother.
	Funeral services were Tuesday, October 7 at 11 a.m. at First Apostolic Church of Pinckneyville with Pastor Leonard Glover officiating.  Interment was in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
	Friends called at the First Apostolic Church on Monday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of services.
	Memorials may be made to the Mercy Ministries of America.
	Arrangements were by Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville.
